Thanks for the news. Had never heard of this. I'll hold back awhile and see how it pans out in the future.
Here is what in Better business business bureau about this company.
Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to a pattern of complaints. Complaints are concerning
this company's products/services. Many complaints are still pending. They indicate that what's being advertised on the company's website is not what the consumers are getting. Consumers are paying the $100 to become a Gold member with the assumption that the $100 will be useable as cash. Consumers also believe the money they get from referring others to the company will be in the form of cash. However, the $100 and the referral money is actually turned into "webcash" that consumers are supposedly able to make online purchases from specific vendors. There has also been allegations that the vendors listed to participate in the "webcash" program have no affiliation with Greenzap and are not accepting these types of payments. Consumers have been experiencing difficulty in accessing accounts, contacting the company or obtaining refunds.
