Blogspot Blogs Part II

As I go from blog to blog, I am finding my self more and more having to go back, then forward again to get to another blog because that person has decided to either remove their button entirely, or put one of those ignorant end hunger banners over it. I really wish the programmers of blogspot would create a search filter so that I don't have to deal with this, as well as all the foreign language, and all the teeny-bop-I love everything-la-de-dah crap.

You're not the only one who has the right to be featured on random blog searches, man. Get out of your solipsism, there are other people everywhere who don't speak English. Plus, those "end hunger" banners are not ignorant. Those elitist brats who don't care about poverty are.

Phil, you are way off base. First of all, if you want to put a banner on your blog that's your own business, but why cover up a button that most people use? Put it somewhere else. Also, I have no problem with people blogging in other languages. I would like to have the option of not viewing it, because I can't read it- get it Phil?

How (and why??) would blogger create a filter so you could skip over "foreign" blogs? Have you never come across a great photo on another blog that was taken by a Spanish/French/German/Portuguese speaker? Do you see the value in people having access to blogs in other languages?

Tu pourrais au moins traduire les textes des blogs étrangers avec des sites comme celui-ci:
http://world.altavista.com/.
Ca marche pas parfaitement mais comme ça tu peux ouvrir tes portes à d'autres mentalités.

Like you, I often traverse Blogger via the "next blog" option. One of my pet peeves is the pinhead who decides that everyone should have to click on some stupid pop-up box or freeze up completely. Something should really be done about such blogs. It's annoying as hell.
As to these people who have misread your post, all he's saying is to give us the OPTION to exit your blog if it's not something we're interested in.

I so feel you on this Brad. It's one of my blogging pet peeves. Even though I do agree that it might be difficult to filter the foreign language blogs since you don't have to say anywhere what language you'll be blogging in!
But they definitely need to find a way to make everyone keep the next blog sign!

I agree. The "Teeny Boppers" and stuff are splappers and they dont even know it! It would be great to have a "Teeny Bopper and Stuff" filter button! The lah de dah crap make me mad because my cursor changes! I dont like my cursor to be disturbed! It did nothing to you!!!
