Sticker Shock

Something that really chaps me off is when I am looking at a certain product, whether it be a vehicle, large appliance, or whatever, and cannot find the actual price. Instead they only give their “low monthly payment”. I guess this is supposed to make the item appear to be more affordable before they really stick it to you. I guess if they really posted the actual price you pay, all the Rent-a-Center type places and used car lots would be out of business.

Oh yes. This is most aggravating when I'm trying to get an overall price on something. I often wonder how many folks get roped into deals truly believing they're only going to pay a third or fourth of the true price. Sure they're fools for not catching the fine print, but it pisses me off just the same.

If i'm not mistaken its against the law here not putting the actual price on a merchandise over here.
But, i think, everywhere and anyone do get ripped off just the same. The sad thing is, they don't realize it.

Heh, fine prints should be changed to large prints and lets see how many economy crashes because of that.

This country has got it all wrong with the buy now, pay later ideology. People live well beyond their means and can't even enjoy what they do own because they are too worried about how they are going to pay for it. But it's like a vortex, you get sucked in.
